Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Site Visit
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) is the largest philanthropy in the United States that focuses solely on health. Since its establishment in 1972, the foundation has dedicated over $1 billion towards health initiatives across the country. The Culture of Health Prize is a recognition bestowed upon, up to, 10 cities that have placed a “priority on health… and are creating powerful partnerships and deep commitments to provide everyone with the opportunity to live the healthiest life possible.” The Town of Eatonville was one of 220 communities that submitted an application and is now one of 10 finalists for the prestigious Culture of Health Prize, which results in a $25,000 cash award and national recognition.
