Solid Waste: The Solid Waste Division, while serving approximately 1,000 accounts the Town’s Solid Waste Division helps maintain a clean and healthy environment for everyone who comes to and lives in the Town through regularly scheduled collection and proper disposal of residential solid waste. Some of the ways that this is accomplished include: *Once per week curbside trash pickup * Chipping of yard waste items as needed * Litter control * Dead animal pickup * Special pickup of large bulky items (requires advance notice) * Coordination of recycling services between citizens of Eatonville and Republic Services.
Engineering Services: The Engineering Division is responsible for the planning, design, project management, and construction of public improvements funded by the Town. This responsibility includes streets, culverts, alleys, storm drainage structures, lighting, parking, industrial parks and many others. The Division work product includes both public and private projects.
Traffic Engineering: The Traffic Engineering Division’s is responsible for the effective installation and operation of traffic signs and signals for pedestrian and vehicular activity. The traffic signs and roadway markings, new construction inspection, minor construction and improvements, and citizen service response.
Streets Maintenance: The Street Maintenance Division is responsible for the repair and maintenance of city streets, sidewalks, storm drainage infrastructure, rights-of-way, and other facilities located within the corporate Town limits.
Facilities: The Facilities Division’s main focus is to provide a safe and pleasant environment in all Town owned buildings. Facilities are responsible for the planning, coordination, renovation, and maintenance of all buildings and parks owned by the Town of Eatonville except where a particular department retains the responsibility.
Utility Services: The Utility Service’s Division’s goal is to provide accurate and complete billing information to the residents of Eatonville, and to ensure that the water meter reading operation provides the citizens and businesses a service that builds confidence in our product.
Trash, Waste, Recyclable Collection Pickup Days
Curbside Residential Garbage and Trash Collection Tuesday
(properly contain your material in a container or bag)
(must be three (3) feet from the curb, not in the street)
Curbside Bulk Trash Collection Tuesday
(up to three (3) cubic yards or ten (10) cans or bags)
Curbside Vegetative Waste Collection Services Wednesday
(up to three (3) cubic yards or ten (10) can or bags)
Must be bundled
Curbside Residential Recyclable Collection Every other Wednesday
(unlimited number of recyclable containers)
(non-recyclable materials will be left in the container)
Commercial Collection Every Thursday
Place your material out by 7:00am on the Pickup Day
Collection Requirements
The following requirements must be met in order for your Trash, Yard Waste and Recyclables to be picked up by the Town. If requirements are not met the waste will be TAGGED!
- Use the green trash receptacles or call 407-623-1313 ext. 240 to request another one
- It is your responsibility to properly contain your material
- Your material must be separated properly
- Trash must be more than 3 feet from the curb, not in the street
- Trash cannot be more than 50 pounds
- Do not put more than ten (10) cans or bags for BULK Trash (10 is the bundle limit)
- Trash must be bundled and tied
- Improper Materials (Paint, Insecticides, Motor Oil, Hazardous Waste, Auto parts, Building and Clearing Waste)
