Town Clerk Mission Statement
The Town Clerk’s office is responsible for keeping the Town’s current and historical records for employees, elected officials, users, and those who utilize Town services from business owners and civic leaders to other organizations and interested individuals, ensuring the accurate preservation and dissemination of information, in compliance with the Florida Statutes. The Town Clerk’s office also oversees the application process for various Citizen Boards and Committees within the Town.

CAOCathlene Williams, Town Clerk Cathlene was born in Sanford, Florida, she obtained a Associates Degree in Computer Science from Orlando College, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in English from Florida Metropolitan University. She has been a member of the Institute of Municipal Clerks since 1999. Almost her entire professional career has been spent in government arena starting with the City of Sanford shortly after graduating from High School in the Building Department. Cathlene has been with the Town of Eatonville since 1990, she started in the Building Department as an Administrative Assistant, Utilities Department, and Chief Administrative Officer department. She has held the position of Town Clerk since 1999.

Cathlene’s professional involvement includes membership in the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, the Florida Association of City Clerk’s, the National Notary Association, and National Forum of Black Public Administrators.

Cathlene is the proud parent of one (1) son, Darrian.
